When Nadia Nakai joined Cassper Nyovest’s record label, Family Tree, the rumour mill went into a frenzy with speculation that there was some sort of beef between her and producer Psyfo.
But this couldn’t be further from the truth.
Speaking to DJ Sabby on his YFM radio show, Nadia shut down those rumours.
“Psyfo and I are good. He’s still my boy. The thing is that Psyfo did so much for me, I was with him for three and a half years, I wouldn’t be where I was if it wasn’t for him. So I’ll always have love for him and Cici because they were like my family.”
“They knew what I was going through, I started working with Psyfo when I was still living with my mom at home. My mom is super strict and he had to deal with me having to leave studio at 6 because my mom wants me home, so there’s a lot of love there.”
Talking about being the first female to join Family Tree Nadia says it’s been an incredible journey so far.
“Being with Family Tree has been amazing, it’s great having a team that can push together and it’s great having so many people behind you.”
