A man in the United Kingdom, who loves meat, decided to change his name to the food he carves.
33-year-old Simon Smith of Muswell Hill, London, legally changed his name to Bacon Double Cheeseburger.
Double Cheeseburger said that the name he was given at birth by someone else has no significance to him. “A name is the least important part of your personality as it is given to you by someone else,” he said.
Although he loves the name, his fiancee, Isabella, 32, is not impressed. She refuses to change her name to Mrs. Double Cheeseburger.
Double Cheeseburger is one of 85,000 people who legally changed their names last year.
Some people are changing their names to their favorite football players. Many seem to be choosing Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
