The Soshanguve based pastor who took national headlines last week by boldly stating that he will be crucified on Good Friday (tomorrow) has changed his mind.
Pastor Daniel Malatji of Revival Ministries in Soshanguve Block C had previously instructed his ‘sheep’ during one Sunday service when he instructed them to come to easter Friday service (25 March) with nails and hammers as he wanted to be nailed on the cross just like Jesus.
Pastor Malatji has however gone back on his word and said the Lord spoke to him in a dream and warned him that it was not yet time. ‘The Lord’s angel came to me through a dream and told me South Africa is not yet ready for such a miracle’, the pastor said before adding, ‘When the time is right and people of South Africa are ready for such a miracle, then it shall be performed’
‘What this means is that the much talked about crucifixion has been postponed’ if I can say, the flamboyant pastor added. ‘But the Lord our God will continue to do miracles among his people and we will not stop spreading the good news until every one turns back to Jesus’ he added.
