The controversial Gupta family has reportedly bought one of the most expensive mansions in Dubai.
The Guptas left South African shores in April with reports suggesting they have permanently moved to the United Arab Emirates following allegations of ‘state capture’ that have since seen multiple banks pull out of their JSE-listed company Oakbay.
According to reports in Sunday papers, the family purchased a R445-million mansion in one of the most expensive estates in Dubai, the Emirates Hills.
The villa L32 was reportedly listed in March for 110-million dirham which is 45-million in South African Rands.
It was earlier reported that the wealthy family was building a R200-million Hindu temple in Saharanpur, India.
