NEO Moeti’s car has finally been found.
But the fong kong holy man who allegedly stole it is still on the run.
The car, which was found in Tshwane, has not yet been returned to her. It is being kept safe at the Pretoria West stolen vehicle compound.
Reacting to the good news, Neo said: “We are happy the car has been found and we thank everyone who contributed to finding it.”
However, she was not so pleased when she went to view it.
“The car is not the same. It has many scratches and the bumper looks as if it’s about to fall off but we’re still happy to get it back,” she said.
Cops traced the car after it was involved in an accident last Thursday. Daily Sun ran a story last month about how Neo had allegedly been preyed on by a man claiming to be a prophet. She said the man told her to visit a stream with him so he could perform a ritual.
When they arrived he apparently said he wanted to fetch something in the car but then vanished with it.
It was the last time Neo saw the car or the prophet.
Police in Pretoria confirmed that Neo and her husband, Rapule Moeti, came and identified their car last week. According to the cops, it was found abandoned just outside Mabopane in Pretoria, after being involved in an accident.
