Actor Rapulana Seiphemo is said to be in a stable condition after surgery on Monday. The Generations: The Legacy actor was injured in a car crash on Sunday night on the N14 near Diepsloot, north of Joburg.
Family spokesman and Rapulana’s brother-in-law Mduduzi Sikhakhane told Daily Sun the operation at Milpark Hospital in Joburg went well.
“We are sure he will be fine,” he said.
Isaac Mahamba of the Tshwane Metro police said they are investigating a case of culpable homicide.
The accident when two vehicles collided claimed two lives and injured four people.
A statement from ER24 said when they arrived at the scene, they found one vehicle on the middle island while the other was found in bushes at the side of the road.
“There were three people in each vehicle,” read the statement.
Good wishes have been pouring in for the star’s speedy recovery.
