The EFF has challenged the ANC to a soccer match to be played in May.
Issuing the challenge , EFF spokesperson, Mbuyisene Ndlozi said the EFF wants to beat the ‘old madalas’ in a friendly but competitive match to be played at Durban’s Moses Mabida Stadium at date yet to be confirmed.
The ANC was quick to accept the challenge and through their spokesperson, Zizi Kodwa said, ‘we accept the challenge whole heartedly and will show you kids how diski is played’.
Both parties then took the chance to announce their teams.
EFF team said they will be using the 4-4-2 formation and they will be coached by Juju himself, Julius Malema. The defence will consist of Hlasiyeka Crucief Chewane, Mzingisi Marshall Dlamini, Godrich Ahmed Gardee and Thembinkosi Rawula. The mid field will consist of Abinaar Modikela Mathloko, Moses Sipho Mbatha, Ntako Sam Matiase and Thilivavi Elphus Mulaudzi. The strike force will be donned by Mbuyiseni Ndlozi and Floyd Chivambu.

No defence, no mid. The team will be coached by Jacob Zuma. The goalkeeper for the day will be Malusi Gigaba. The ten strikers will be Jackson Mthembu, Gwede Mantashe, Fikile Mbalula, Cyril Ramaphosa, Baleka Mbete, Zweli Mkhize, Abel Ramathlodi, Pravin Gordhan, Bheki Cele and David Mahlobo.
