Seven months after Dubai-based broadcaster OSN refused to air Trevor Noah’s Daily Show‚ the pair seem to have finally settled their differences.

According to Gulf News‚ Trevor will visit Dubai next month to launch Comedy Central‚ and his Daily Show‚ on the pay TV service.

Trevor will reportedly join another comedian from Saudi Arabia at an exclusive cocktail reception on May 7 to launch a new Comedy Central channel‚ Comedy Central HD‚ exclusive to the area.

“I am looking forward to The Daily Show with Trevor Noah debuting in the Middle East. I’m excited to be in Dubai to push the big red button that makes Comedy Central go live on OSN. That is how channels go live‚ right?” Trevor said in a statement.

OSN‚ arguably the biggest TV subscription service in the Middle East and North Africa‚ announced in September last year that it had decided not to broadcast Trevor’s show on its network because it believed he would not be a fan favourite. This‚ despite the comedian frequently selling out shows in the area.
