Prophet Mboro real name PASEKA Motsoeneng, might have claimed to have gone to heaven, but he has been locked out on earth!
This is after the sheriff of the court evicted the prophet on Friday, throwing all the Incredible Happenings Ministries’ property and “holy” prophet water in the street.
Mboro’s latest run-in with the law came barely two days after he was in hot water with the Commission for the Promotion and Protection of Cultural, Religious and Linguistic Communities. The commission last week threatened to open cases of fraud against Mboro for allegedly selling “selfies” of himself with Jesus in Heaven.
The owner of the building was seen on Friday changing keys and locking the doors.
A member of the sheriff’s team said Mboro had not paid his rent for the past three years.
“He was given a court order to leave the premises in August last year,” the source said.
He said Mboro defied the order and remained on at the premises.
Mboro’s financial problems first made headline when Daily Sun reported that the pastor allegedly moered three of his bodyguards who were asking to be paid.
Addressing the media at the church, Mboro claimed he had paid R11 million for the building which he was leasing-to-buy for R14 million. He said there was confusion between him and the building owners and that he stopped paying for it last year.
He further claimed that he had moved out of the building last month. “I had some belongings left and we were planning to take them any time.
“Instead of telling me to remove it peacefully, they came with the sheriff and threw everything out,” he said.
He added he would claim back the R11 million he had paid as well as for damage caused.
Lieutenant Kay Makhubela said police were asked to escort the sheriff who had a court order.
