Police were on patrol on Wednesday morning when they received a tip-off about a house with dagga in it.
The men and women in blue from Kimberley and Galeshewe rushed to the home in Galeshewe.
Police spokeswoman Sergeant Majang Skalkie said the cops found dagga stashed in black rubbish bags.
“At about 2am SAPS members were told about suspicious activities at a house in Crutse Street, Galeshewe.
“They went there and recovered 10 bags of dagga.”
Skalkie said the confiscated dagga weighed 100kg and had an estimated street value of R100 000.
“An undisclosed amount of money and two cellphones were also seized by the police.
“Two men aged 42 and 72 were arrested and charged with possession of dagga.
“They will appear in the Galeshewe Magistrates Court soon.
“The confiscated items will be kept as evidence and the investigation continues,” said Skalkie.
